SRPC, Sheilds Security Service and Narra Multipurpose Cooperative employees spent 4 hours at Bobon Elementary School on May 26 with brooms, paint brushes, grass cutters, shovels and cement trowels to lend a hand in the school-based maintenance program, "Brigada Eskwela." The employees' sharing of their time and skills will somehow contribute to make the learning environment a little better for the students.

SRMP Arboretum/Tree Library Project

SRPC celebrates the Environment month with the lauching of the SRMP Arboretum/Tree Library Project aimed to instill a commitment to plant and nurture indigenous trees; to encourage everyone to take an active stand and be counted in creating solutions to combat global warming and climate change; and to protect biological diversity by collecting and saving unique trees from extinction.

About 120 participants from SRPC, National Power Corporation, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Pag-rangayan Community Development Foundation, Narra Multipurpose Cooperative, Paraiso sa Barrio, Philippine National Police, and Shields Security planted 150 seedlings of 31 variety of tree species at the SRMP Ecology Park on June 10 inspired with the theme "Every tree matters. Create good footprints to the environment. A positive change can begin with you."
