About SRMP

Dampic

The Agno River north of Luzon spans 221 kilometers in length, running through three municipalities: San Manuel and San Nicolas in Pangasinan, and Itogon in Benguet. It is often called "the river of dreams" because of its great potential to support the lives of the residents of the communities it traverses.

The San Roque Multipurpose Project or SRMP was built beginning 1998 to harness the power of the Agno River, bringing these benefits to several communities in the heart of Luzon: flood control, irrigation, electrical power and improved water quality.
